China releases National Food Safety Standard for MRL limits of 112 pesticides
In January, the People’s Republic of China (PRC) National Health Commission (NHC), Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and State Administration of Market Regulation jointly announced the publication of a new National Food Safety Standard for 112 Maximum Residue Limits in foods. The pesticides covered in the new standard were notified to the WTO under G/SPS/N/CHN/1242 in December 2021.
